Kölner Stadtanzeiger, 24.05.1994
MusikTriennale Köln, "Trommelnacht" (Night of Drums) at Philharmonie:
"Unlike others, Christoph Haberer did not settle for electronic expansion and echoing effects. He developed electronic sounds and turned them into his secret partners, creating a dialogue between drums, cymbals, tins and the xylophone. In terms of composition, his set was very well developed."

Berlingske Tidende, 22.04.1997
Jazzhouse Copenhagen:
"Langt mere konkret musik blev der budt på efter pausen, da den tyske slagtøjspiller Christoph Haberer intog scenen og leverede sit verdensmusikalske, men også meget centraleuropæiske program >pulse<. På et imponerende opbud af både europæisk
og etnisk slagtøj spillede han intense, udfarende og rytmiske soli, som havde >fast grund under fødderne< i form af diverse præ-programmerede elektroniske tonerækker og klange."

Boston Rock, Juli 1991
Stadtgarten Tour USA, Boston:
"Christoph Haberer plays drums, a fairly sizeable kit with a dozen cymbals and bells and a MIDI percussion controller to either side. Initially he played the electronic sounds directly from the pads, almost as a dialogue between the different patches in the left hand and right hand pads, with the natural drums intervening – very clever stuff…Gradually the sequences got longer and relegated themselves to the background, but the drumming remained musical, little cascades of tuned percussion and surprising paradiddles.”

Frankfurter Rundschau, Mai 1990
12. Kölner Jazzhaus-Festival:
"The percussionist Christoph Haberer'. presented a percussion solo, using midi-pads and digital drums as well as a varied mix of percussion instruments. The electronically created melodious and harmonic parts are, however, subordinate to rhythmic parameters and thus only play the role of rhythmic sound variation. The result is a micro-cosmos of extremely subtle and incredibly complex poly-rhythmic percussion which has never been heard before."
