Jazz Festival Münster 1993:
"Drummers' triumph – when did such a splendid formation last enjoy standing ovations? "Drümmele Maa" Christoph Haberer (percussion, electronics), Stefan Bauer (marimba and vibraphone) and Ramesh Shotham (percussion) presented a mix of European, Indian and African music tradition, creating a highly intellectual and truly multicultural work of art of pulsating melodies, timbres and rhythms. With playful transitions, the three artist also managed to create eloquent silence – something which is quite unusual for such a combination of artists. The Dutch singer, Greetje Bijma, worked together with the percussionists, setting counterpoints, adding new impulses and enhancing her fascinating performance by her body art.
